Our Commitment to Your Privacy
In compliance with Google Play Developer Policy, Apple App Store Guidelines, and international data protection regulations, MedFlicks provides every student with the unconditional right to permanently delete their account and erase all associated personal and learning data. Deletion can be initiated directly within the mobile app or via the self-service web form below without requiring the mobile app to be installed.
How to Request Account Deletion
Method 1: Directly Within the Mobile App
Immediate ProcessingIf you have the MedFlicks mobile app installed on your Android or iOS device, you can delete your account self-service at any time:
- Open the MedFlicks app
- Tap the Account tab
- Select the You shortcut
- Scroll down & tap Delete Account
- Confirm the destructive prompt
- Open the MedFlicks app
- Tap the Account tab
- Tap the Settings shortcut
- Scroll down & tap Delete account
- Confirm the destructive prompt
Method 2: Authenticated Web Deletion (Without Mobile App)
Instant PurgeIf you do not have the mobile app installed or are accessing MedFlicks via a browser, you can verify your account credentials below to immediately and permanently erase your account and all learning records.
Forgot your password or signed up with a mobile OTP?
If you do not remember your password or signed up with mobile OTP, our student support team can assist you with manual identity verification and account deletion:
Data Permanently Erased
- • Full name and account profile metadata
- • Email address and phone number linkage
- • Authentication credentials and Firebase UID
- • Video lecture watch progress and resume points
- • MCQ session statistics and performance history
- • Personal notes, revision tags, and bookmarks
- • Active sessions, refresh tokens, and FCM push tokens
Statutory Retention Exceptions
To comply with statutory financial laws (GST regulations, anti-fraud auditing, and tax compliance):
- • Historical payment order records (Razorpay Order IDs, amounts, and dates) are retained in an anonymized financial ledger completely stripped of personal identifiers, email, and phone numbers.
- • No learning records, activity metrics, or biometric data are retained under this exception.
Verification & Processing Timeframe
To protect student accounts from unauthorized or malicious deletion, web deletion requires password authentication or assisted support verification before permanent data purge.
Both in-app deletions and credential-verified web deletions execute immediately upon confirmation, permanently purging all student records from our database in real time.
